HIQA Registered Designated Centre for Older Persons

Welcome! Anna Gaynor House is a HIQA registered residential care centre for older people located on the grounds of our Harold’s Cross campus. It provides services for patients and residents under the following categories:

  • Nursing Home Support Scheme (Fair Deal Scheme)
  • Fast Track – Supportive Palliative Care Level 2
  • Dementia Specific Respite

The team in Anna Gaynor is lead by:

  • Ms Lisa Murphy – Assistant Director of Nursing & Person in Charge
  • Mrs. Audrey Houlihan – Chief Executive Officer and Provider Nominee
  • Mrs. Mary Flanagan – Director of Nursing, Quality and Clinical Services

Visiting

Daily visiting is available between 13.30-16.30 (1pm and 4.30 pm) and between 17.30-19.30 (5pm and 7.30pm). Two people may visit at a time.

Visitors must sign in at reception, wear a mask, perform hand hygiene and confirm they have no Covid-19 symptoms. Please adhere to social distancing during your visit.

It may be necessary to book your visit in certain circumstances, please discuss with the team on the ward.

For the safety of all residents, we ask that visitors are fully vaccinated. Visitors should take an antigen test before coming in to AGH (minimum of twice a week if visiting regularly).

Thank you for your patience and co-operation as we work hard to support and protect our residents. Covid-19 continues to be a risk, even with vaccination.
