Ways To Partner With Us

Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services continues to be wonderfully supported by companies through donations, fundraising events and partnerships. Our corporate supporters’ help enables us to transform our facilities, invest in essential equipment and provide excellent, specialist and loving care. There are many ways in which companies can help us with our work, and by working with us in a fundraising capacity your company will be making a genuine difference to our patients.

We understand that every company is different, so each relationship is tailored depending on your requirements. We have an experienced and dedicated team, here to support and guide you so that you get the most out of your partnership with us.

Explore the different ways you can partner with us:

Employee fundraising is a fantastic way to engage colleagues and foster team spirit. We have a number of ideas (from table quizzes to bake sales, cycles to a family fun day), you might have your own idea or you can participate in one of our campaigns (to find out more about our fundraising campaigns for corporates please click here to review our monthly Hospice Events).

We will provide you with all the materials (balloons, t-shirts, posters, collection buckets etc.) you might need to help make your activity a success. We can also attend your event, participate in photography, support your communications activity and help promote your event through our communication/social media channels.

Some companies will top up or match the funds you have raised to increase your final donation.

Making a corporate donation to Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services means that you are supporting the provision of specialist care in Ireland’s largest hospice.

Over the coming years, corporate donations will help us transform our facilities, invest in essential equipment and provide excellent, specialist and loving care.

We can discuss the various ways a corporate donation can be made with you. We also have a recognition programme in place dependent on the size and type of donation. Every donation, no matter how small, counts, and if you wish, you can specify the area you would like to support, or simply allow us to use your donation where the need is greatest. If a company makes a donation of over €250 in a year, the company can claim a tax deduction as if the donation was a trading expense.

Does your company nominate a Charity of the Year? We would be delighted if you would consider us as your charity partner. We will work with you or your charity committee to support and develop a programme of fundraising and volunteering opportunities that have impact, meaning and enhance your CSR.

We will ensure that in partnering with us, you receive the support you need, along with all the fundraising materials. A partnership such as a Charity of the Year can last for a year or span multiple years.

We run events throughout the year that companies can sponsor. In sponsoring events, companies can align their brand with Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services and gain benefits associated with cause related sponsorships. Sponsorships include our high profile campaign in the run up to Christmas – Light Up A Life – Little Flower of Life, among others. We can also develop bespoke sponsorship packages. We have developed a Founding Partnership with Massey Bros. Funeral Directors who have made a financial commitment over a period of five years to support our development. We are very happy to discuss this type of partnership with any interested company.

Do you or your colleagues have some time to spare? There are opportunities and ways to get involved throughout the year to support Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services. People have helped out by planting flowers for Little Flower of Life, by working side by side with our staff and volunteers in the preparation for Light Up A Life, or being part of a crew that hits the streets to sell on Sunflower Days. We ask companies to consider a corporate donation in tandem with volunteering and are very appreciative of financial support alongside volunteering.

We welcome the opportunity to work with anyone interested in making a gift this way. We actively approach charitable trusts and foundations and apply for relevant grants to seek funding to support our work, purchase vital equipment and help fund our development and expansion.

A cause-related marketing partnership can help deliver benefits to your company as well as raise vital funds and awareness for us. If you have a product or service that you think might benefit from a partnership with us please get in touch.

Many employees can apply to their company to top up their fundraising with Matched Giving. Companies might match funds raised euro for euro, or top up the amount to be donated to a higher level.

Payroll Giving encourages members of staff to give regularly through their salary. It is a simple and effective way for staff to contribute on a regular basis through payroll deductions. The amount is chosen by the employee and then deducted from their pay cheque by the company’s payroll department. Donations of €250 or over a year are eligible for tax relief.

A great way to utilise your company’s assets and professional skills. Donating product, discounted services or professional advice can be an easy and valuable way for your business to help. Gifts in kind can help save resources and enable us to fundraise more effectively.
