Blackrock Hospice Refurbishment Project
Vital upgrades for patients and families receiving end-of-life care
Blackrock Hospice, based in the heart of Blackrock village, underwent a major state-of-the-art redevelopment at a cost of c.€7m over 2022 – 2023. Since it reopened, in early 2023, it is greatly enhancing the environment in which we provide palliative care to patients, in addition to supporting their loved ones. Staff are also working in an improved environment delivering specialist loving care.
The refurbishment of Blackrock Hospice would not be possible without donations from individuals, companies, and organisation’s within our community.
We received €750,000 from the HSE for design fees and fit out.
€5.7m has been generously donated thus far, but we have an urgent need to raise the balance of over €0.5m.
We are committed to providing, with loving care, the highest quality, person-centred palliative care services for all those who need it.
But we cannot do it without your support.
Please help this important project and close this funding gap!
