Dublin Certificate in Evidence Based Spirituality for Healthcare

The aim of the Dublin Certificate in Evidence Based Spirituality for Healthcare is to provide healthcare professionals with an opportunity to develop their theoretical knowledge in spirituality and spiritual care in healthcare.  It provides healthcare professionals with an opportunity to explore their own spirituality. The course will also explore issues related to assessing spiritual needs, exploring existential issues, responding to spiritual distress and the provision of spiritual care at end-of-life.

The course will adopt a blended learning approach, with online lectures and facilitated in person workshops, over a period of 10 weeks beginning on Monday, 25 September.  The course is facilitated by chaplaincy and education staff from Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services.
