Through blended learning this module aims to:
- Provide evidence-based recommendations around the principles, practice, and techniques for joint and soft tissue injection therapies for people with rheumatic musculoskeletal disease (RMD)
- Prepare participants to expand their skills base with respect to the use of injection therapies for people with RMD
- Advise participants to work within their respective scope of practice when administering prescribed injection therapies
- Emphasise a person centred approach to healthcare delivery.
This module is intended as an educational resource and does not constitute an assessment of clinical competence.
This nine-week blended learning module comprises:
- Three in-person days (09:00 -14:30) (see dates below)
- five two-hour, online, self-directed learning units, and one reading week.
The in-person days are:
- Monday, February 16th, 2026
- Monday, March 9th, 2026
- Monday, April 13th, 2026 (Final Assessment)
