If required, blood tests may be ordered following admission and repeated throughout your stay.
If you have recent X-rays or other images (e.g. MRI) relating to your present condition, please bring them with you on admission. Standard X-rays are arranged within the Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Disease Unit every Wednesday, if required. If your consultant recommends a scan of any type, this will be organised at an external facility, where possible, during your stay with us.
A limited podiatry service is available every Wednesday. Appointments can be made through our nursing staff after your initial assessment.
