Harold’s Cross

The Specialist Palliative Care unit in Harold’s Cross is one of the oldest and largest in Ireland. More than 780 patients are admitted to the inpatient wards annually.

Annually, over 500 new patients are seen by our community homecare team, with a combined total of over 12,370 home visits carried out between our facilities in Harold’s Cross and Blackrock. We aim to meet and support you wherever you are. By working and communicating as a team across the Hospice, the home, the Day Hospice and the hospitals, we aim to walk with you every step of the way.

The Palliative Care unit has close links to all major South Dublin hospitals, including St James’s Hospital, Tallaght Hospital, Naas General Hospital and St Vincent’s University Hospital.
