Wicklow Hospice Half Marathon & 10km

Wicklow Hospice  Half Marathon and 10km will return for the 10th year in 2024!

A lovely route awaits you starting and finishing at Coillte’s Avondale Forest Park, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow.   This is a looped course for both distances along a mixture of country roads and forest trails, with some inclines along the way to offer a gentle challenge.

Wicklow Hospice is the first facility to provide specialist palliative care services for patients and their families in County Wicklow.  The state-of-the-art purpose-built 15 bed hospice opened in 2020 following more than ten years of incredible fundraising, which we actively continue to this day.  All funds raised go towards payment of the outstanding building bank loan and towards patient enhancements and supports.  These services are available to patients and families in the Hospice and through our Community Palliative Care Team.
