2km a day is OK!

Support Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services by taking on our ‘2km a day is ok’ challenge!

Run, walk or cycle as far as you like (minimum 2km a day) while staying within the 2km radius from your home, and use your efforts to help raise much needed funds online for the Hospice.

What distance can you achieve? Could you walk 10km over 5 days? Perhaps you could manage a full marathon (or further) over a the whole month?

Our patients are in the high risk category of Covid-19 as their immune systems are much more compromised. As you can imagine its a very worrying time for them and their families. We are asking you to support our incredible front line staff at this very challenging time. Your funds will have an immediate impact providing expert care, comfort and support at this critical time and will a great help, in the coming weeks and months, for so many in our community. Wouldn’t that be something to be really proud of?

Taking part is easy:

1. Visit the following link justgiving.com and click on

2. Create your own page and let people know why you are supporting the hospice and taking on the challenge. Will you doing the same route every day? Are you changing your route daily? (Perhaps you’re staying in your own back garden!) Will you be wearing something that makes you stand out? Tell your own story, explain your connection to the Hospice, take some photos and share your story online. It’s really easy and great fun when you get started!

**Remember** Please respect social distance at all times
