Healthy Aging for Bones, Bodies and Minds

Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services’ Rheumatology/Gerontology Conference will will take place on the 12th February 2020. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Healthy Agining for Bones, Bodies and Minds’ providing an ideal opportunity for critical debate regarding challenges relating to advancing practice in rheumatology/gerontology. The conference provides an important forum for educators, clinical practitioners and researchers to examine the developments in rheumatology/gerontology and research from leading experts in the speciality.

We are honoured to announce the following speakers will be amongst those who present on the day:

Professor Rose Anne Kenny, Professor of Medical Gerontology at Trinity College, Dublin where she is Head of the academic Discipline of Medical Gerontology, Director of the Falls and Blackout Unit at St. James’ Hospital, Dublin and Director of the new Mercer’s Institute for Successful Aging.

Professor Kevin Malone, Consultant Psychiatrist in St. Vincent’s Universtiy Hospital, Dublin and Professor of Psychiatrry & Mental Health at Universtiy College Dublin.

Professor Norelee Kennedy, Vice-President for Research at University of Limerick and Associate Professor of Physiotherapyand Head of School of Allied Science.
