Innovation not Stagnation: Making the Evidence Count

Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services Moving Points in Palliative Care Annual Conference will be held as an in-person event on Wednesday, 22 March 2023.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Innovation not Stagnation: Making the Evidence Count’. The conference provides an important forum for educators, clinical practitioners and researchers to examine the developments in oncology and palliative care and research from leading experts in the specialities.

We are delighted to announce our key note speaker on the day will be Prof Eduardo Bruera, Professor Palliative, Rehabilitation, and Integrative Medicine, University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.

Other speakers include Prof Kevin Brazil, Queens University Belfast, Prof Bridget Johnston, University of Glasgow, Dr Geraldine Foley, Trinty College Dublin, Dr Craig Gouldthorpe, Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, Professor Roman Romero-Ortuno and Dr Amanda Lavan. Please note that all fees must be paid before the course begins and early bird bookings must be paid for before 31 December – your booking is not confirmed until we have received payment in full.

Certificate:            6 CPD points will be available from RCPI and 7 CEUs will be available from NMBI.

Fee:                       Early bird rate of €175 available until 31 January - all fees must be paid before that date or the full price applies. €200 thereafter..

Further Info:        Registration fee: The registration fee includes all refreshments. Cancellations: Cancellations up to 4 weeks before the conference will incur a €50 administration fee: thereafter no refunds will be given, although substitution of delegates will be allowed.
