Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services is a 200-bed hospice providing specialist care for people with a wide range of needs from rehabilitation to end of life care.
This care is provided both on-site in Harold’s Cross Hospice and Blackrock Hospice as well as in the local community and, in 2019, we will be expanding our catchment area with the opening of a new 15-room hospice in Wicklow.
Each year we care for over 4,000 patients and since 2010 have seen a 20% increase in patient demand. We must raise over €4 million every year to make up the shortfall in HSE funding as our state funding has decreased by 14% since 2009.
