Visitors’ Information Wi-Fi (Internet) There is free Wi-Fi (Internet) connectivity available throughout the premises. Open access PC is also available in the restaurant. Internet access on the wards will soon be available. ATM We have no ATM service and credit card payments are not available in the facilities. Public Phones Public payphones are located on some wards and by the Security Desk and Main Reception. Security CCTV cameras monitor the Hospice both internally and externally 24hrs a day. Any security incidents, including items lost or found, should be reported to the Security Office in the Palliative Care entrance hall. Car Parking Facilities Free car parking is available for patients and visitors. Weekend Leave As part of the reablement programme patients stay in CRU the first weekend, returning home each weekend their after for the duration of their stay. You will be expected to make your own arrangements to go home. Visiting Hours Visiting hours are from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. In order for patients to achieve maximum benefit from the reablement programme, full participation is required during the day with minimum interruption. Smoke Free Environment The Hospice is a smoke-free zone. There are, however, designated smoking areas on the Hospice grounds. Suggestions and Complaints Should you wish to make a complaint, please request a meeting with one of our nurses or ward managers to discuss your concerns. Restaurant Opens daily for breakfast, lunch and tea. The restaurant closes at 4pm each day. Vending machines are situated in the restaurant area, serving tea/coffee and light snacks.
