Many thanks for all those who took part in this year’s Spring Raffle. We’re delighted to announce that this year through your support we managed to raise a mammoth €202,484 All of these funds raised will go towards helping us maintain exceptionally high standards of care for our patients, residents and their families. We *could not* do this without your support, you amaze us every year and we are extremely grateful!
Today’s draw took place on site in Harold’s Cross and was independently monitored by Gardai. Present were representatives from our sponsors, Kenilworth Motors and Sunway Travel. Once again our thanks go out to these sponsors: your prize support makes our raffle one of the best in the country.

Worried you might be out of time this year..?
We have started using an email and mobile phone, instant ticket purchase system through a firm called “pay2sender”. A text message and email will go out to supporters to give them a chance to buy one ticket (€5.00), a book of 6 tickets (€25.00) or three books of tickets (€65.00). If you receive this message please be assured that this is a genuine and secure payment system in association with AIB Merchant Services, endorsed by the Fundraising Team in Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services and 100% trustworthy.
Hospice Spring Raffle: How does it work?
Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services are calling on individuals and businesses in the local community to give a life changing gift this Spring and either sell or purchase raffle tickets for our annual ‘Hospice Spring Raffle.’ Tickets are €5 each, a book of six for €25 or 18 tickets for €65 (saving €25!).
The first prize is an ‘Opel Corsa S’ or a €10,000 cash alternative. The second prize is a luxury break in Kusadasi kindly sponsored by Sunway Holidays and the third prize is €1,000. All raffle tickets sellers will also automatically go into a draw to win a special Seller’s Prize of €1,000.
New for 2017. Introducing…Raffle Plus
This year, you might get even luckier…
This year we’ve introduced a new prize draw, Raffle Plus. Raffle Plus works similar to Lotto Plus. Simply tick the Raffle Plus box on your ticket stub, pay an additional €1 per ticket (i.e. €6, not €5) and your ticket will go into an additional draw for a new prize of €1,000!
Please note, Raffle Plus is completely optional and the purchaser can choose to enter this draw on a per ticket basis. In other words, there is no obligation to enter the Raffle Plus draw on all tickets in a book. To enter Raffle Plus simply tick the Raffle Plus box on the relevant ticket stub and add €1 to the cost of the ticket.
When is it?
We are recruiting raffle ticket sellers and selling tickets at the moment and throughout March and April. The Grand Draw will take place on Thursday the 11th of May 2017. All tickets need to be submitted by Friday the 5th of May to be included in the draw.

There are so many ways in which you can support the Hospice Spring Raffle and help us to reach our target!
- Sell raffle tickets! That’s what it’s all about. the more people who are willing to sell tickets on our behalf, the more funds we raise to support our front line services. Call Angela in reception on 1850 66 06 06 for more details.
- Ask family and friends would they sell raffle tickets on our behalf. The more the merrier!
Where do the funds raised go?
All funds go to support our vital front line services. Proceeds from the raffle have made important improvements happen in numerous departments of our Hospice and care services. They have made the time that residents spend here so much more rewarding and comfortable and have helped us reach beyond our walls into communities and homes.
