This module is delivered as part of the Rheumatology Graduate Diploma and can be used as a stand alone award or as clinical credits in a Masters programme.
This module is designed to equip health professionals caring for patients with rheumatic diseases with the necessary theoretical knowledge of the discipline of rheumatology. The specialist discipline of Rheumatology is concerned with a heterogeneous group of diseases and disorders commonly affecting the locomotor system, where the arthritis is only one component of a constitutional illness of considerable complexity.
